Chai-spiced apple snacks

If you love the contrast between sweet and spicy, these apple snacks with a hint of Spicy Chai will be your new obsession. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and with that spicy kick that makes them irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of filo pastry
  • 2 apples
  • 3g Spicy Chai 
  • A handful of chopped raw cashews or another nut
  • 1 egg
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

Prepare all the ingredients.

Sauté diced apples with Spicy Chai and chopped cashews. Cook until reduced in size and tender.

Brush a sheet of filo with egg, fold into a rectangle, and place a thin layer of filling.

Fold into a triangle, seal with egg, and bake at 200-210ºC for 10 minutes. Let cool… and enjoy!
